I love writing. I love food. Those are two interests that have stayed constant throughout my life. So why not combine the two? Perfect! Trying out different food is like almost like traveling; you get to experience different smells, tastes, and atmospheres. It brings a bit of the culture to you, even if you didn't leave your home. This blog explores Portland restaurants (plus any notable ones I encounter on vacation), recipes that worked out exceptionally for me, plus any other epicurean delights that come my way. Deschutes Brewery: Exciting Update

Maybe you are aware, or maybe you're not, but I have a tracker on my blog, so I can get a general idea of who has been reading it. Well, not just once, but twice this morning someone at Deschutes Brewing (in Bend, the headquarters, no less) viewed my blog! This is the kind of thing I've always hoped for. Maybe the stale bread issue will now be rectified, and I can go back and write a 100% glowing review.
